LAS VEGAS, Texas — A Texas woman has been hospitalized after she allegedly overdosed on Viagra to treat a brain infection.
After she reportedly overdosed on the pills, police said she was in a room with her boyfriend and was prescribed them to help her sleep.
Investigators said she took Viagra pills with the drug after she was told that she had to take two at a time. The pills were then used to treat her brain infection, authorities said.
“It was an all-day trip,” said police.
The arrest comes after a woman who was allegedly taking Viagra for about four days was treated with the drug at a medical facility in Loyola, Texas, authorities said.

“She has not been seen in any capacity in this hospital, and she is seriously suffering from a brain infection,” said Dr. Cole.
